Before you can accept payments through Stripe, you need to connect your WooCommerce store to your Stripe account. This connection allows the plugin to securely process payments on your behalf through Stripe's payment infrastructure.

Live Mode

For live mode payments, you must connect using our secure oAuth connection process. This method provides the highest level of security and ensures your store can access all Stripe features without manually handling sensitive API credentials.

Test Mode

For test mode, you have two options: you can manually enter your test API keys if you prefer direct control over the connection, or use the same oAuth connection process that's required for live mode. The oAuth method is recommended even for testing as it simplifies the setup process and mirrors your eventual live configuration.

The connection process is straightforward and only takes a few minutes to complete. Once connected, the plugin will automatically handle all communication with Stripe's servers, allowing you to focus on running your business rather than managing technical integrations.
